MODULE 17 - HUNTING COW ELK

Similar to the Module on Hunting Roosevelt Elk, I need to make a couple of important disclaimers in this Module as well…

First, I’ve only hunted specifically for cow elk a couple of times. However, I have spent over 35 years hunting elk on public land, and have had hundreds of encounters and opportunities to harvest cow elk throughout the years. Additionally, I feel I have learned as much – or perhaps even more – about cow elk than I have about bulls, and have found that this knowledge contributes just as much to consistently and successfully hunt bulls, as knowledge of hunting bulls does!
